About Us

 KAFITT Australia is a small, family-owned business built by cyclists, for people who simply love being active.
Our journey began in early 2019. After spending 14 years raising our children, my wife Wendy was looking for an opportunity to build something she could run from home. As a family deeply involved in mountain biking—our daughter raced cross-country (XC) and we were both regular riders—we were always searching for cycling apparel that combined performance, comfort and great design.
That’s when we discovered KAFITT.
We bought some of their clothing ourselves and quickly became genuine fans of the brand. The quality, fit and attention to detail stood out immediately, and just as importantly, the people behind KAFITT were fantastic to deal with. It felt like a brand we could proudly represent in Australia.
Later that year, we purchased a bicycle shop and integrated KAFITT Australia into both the retail store and our online business. For several years we enjoyed introducing riders to the brand and building relationships with customers across the country.
Then came one of the toughest periods the cycling industry has ever faced.
Following the COVID boom, the industry experienced a dramatic downturn. Excess inventory, changing consumer spending and significant interest rate increases created enormous pressure on bike retailers. By mid-2023, numerous Australian bicycle shops—including ours—had closed their doors.
Like many small family businesses, it was an incredibly difficult time. Our priority became protecting our family and simply keeping our home. It wasn’t easy, but we made it through.
Throughout it all, KAFITT Australia continued to perform well on its own. The support from our customers and our ongoing relationship with the KAFITT team reminded us why we started in the first place.
So we decided it was time to begin again.
Today, KAFITT Australia is back as a dedicated online store, giving us the opportunity to focus entirely on the products we genuinely believe in. We’re only at the beginning of this new chapter, but the response has already been incredibly encouraging. We’ve reconnected with many of our previous customers, welcomed new riders into the KAFITT community, and are excited about what lies ahead.
Our goal hasn’t changed since day one.
We want to offer technical cycling and endurance apparel that performs as well as it looks, backed by honest service from people who actually ride, understand the products, and genuinely care about every customer.

Custom Team Skinsuit


As a Norco Ambassador, Sharni needed a skinsuit that matched the team's official colours. KAFITT designed and produced a custom race suit that met the team's requirements while providing the comfort, fit and performance needed for cross-country racing.

Custom Team Skatesuit


Our girls wanted something a little special — a custom skatesuit inspired by Australian team colours. Designed in KAFITT’s performance compression fabric with a clean, aerodynamic fit and no chamois, it gives them their own distinctive team look on the track while still keeping that unmistakable KAFITT style.

Variation to a Surfsuit


Isabella wanted the standard KAFITT Surfsuit in a custom salmon colourway rather than one of the standard options. We were able to personalise the design while maintaining the original fit, comfort and performance, creating a unique suit tailored to her style.
