Meet the passionate riders who represent the Kafitt Australia family. Our ambassadors embody the spirit of cycling — dedication, performance, and style.
Freyja Sorensen
Born in 1968 in Vasastan, Stockholm, Sweden, Freyja has built her life around health, resilience and the outdoors.
After marrying her husband, Nils, in 1987, the couple welcomed their son Erik in 1989. In 1992, Freyja qualified as a Personal Trainer through the National Personal Training Institute in Stockholm, beginning a career dedicated to helping others achieve healthier, more active lives.
Following the loss of her husband in 1997, Freyja made the courageous decision to move to Australia in 1998 for a fresh start. She settled in Beenleigh, Queensland, where she established herself as a respected personal trainer, working with a diverse range of clients, including several well-known personalities.
In 2024, Freyja relocated to Victoria, where she continues to coach private clients while embracing the region's outstanding cycling culture.
Away from work, Freyja is happiest on two wheels. She enjoys long endurance rides with her close friend Bianca, while solo gravel rides through the bush provide the peace and perspective that first drew her to Australia's outdoors. Her philosophy is simple: fitness should enrich your life, not define it.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Freyja represents perseverance, healthy living and the belief that it's never too late to begin a new adventure.
Irina Volkova
Born in 1997 in Novosibirsk, Russia, Irina developed a passion for sport from an early age. Growing up in a country where talented young athletes are encouraged to pursue excellence, she quickly found herself immersed in cross-country mountain biking and competitive ice skating. While she enjoyed the challenge of competition, it was the freedom of riding through nature that became her greatest passion.
Seeking a more relaxed lifestyle and new opportunities, Irina made the move to Melbourne, Australia in 2017. She quickly fell in love with the city's vibrant outdoor culture, appreciating its ever-changing weather—a little warmer than the Siberian winters she grew up with, but still offering the variety she enjoys.
Today, Irina balances her time between mountain biking, strength training and exploring Victoria's extensive trail network. While she currently rides for enjoyment and fitness, she hopes to return to competitive cross-country racing in the future.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Irina represents determination, quiet confidence and the belief that the best rides are the ones that challenge both body and mind.
Lusine Navaryan
Born in 1990 in Melbourne, Australia, Lusine is the daughter of Armenian parents who migrated to Australia in the early 1970s in search of new opportunities and a better life. Growing up in Mulgrave, in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, she was raised with a strong sense of family, community and appreciation for the opportunities Australia had provided.
Sport was always a part of Lusine's life. While she enjoyed participating in school athletics and recreational activities, she was never driven by competition. For her, staying active has always been about enjoying the experience, feeling healthy and spending time outdoors rather than chasing results.
Cycling has remained a constant throughout her life. Whether it's a relaxed ride along Melbourne's extensive bike paths or a casual gym session to maintain her fitness, Lusine believes that an active lifestyle should be enjoyable and sustainable. She takes pride in looking after herself and values fitness as an important part of everyday wellbeing.
In 2021, Lusine met fellow KAFITT ambassador Irina Volkova, and the two quickly became close friends. They regularly ride together, although Lusine is more interested in the scenery and conversation than racing to the finish line. For her, cycling is about friendship, balance and enjoying the journey.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Lusine represents balance, positivity and the belief that fitness is about living well, building lasting friendships and making the most of every ride.
Kora Raven
Born in 1980, Kora grew up in the bayside suburb of Beaumaris, Victoria, alongside her older brother, Keenan. From an early age, the pair shared a fiercely competitive spirit. Kora was determined to prove she could match—or beat—anything her older brother could do, while Keenan was equally determined to ensure his younger sister didn't get the better of him. Whether it was school cross-country, Little Athletics, swimming carnivals or weekend sporting events, every ribbon, medal and personal best became another point on their unofficial family scoreboard.
Rather than creating rivalry, their friendly competition pushed them both to become stronger athletes and instilled a lifelong love of endurance sport.
As adults, both siblings discovered a passion for triathlon, where that same competitive spirit continues today. While Keenan eventually settled further inland, Kora chose to stay close to the coastline, making Chelsea her home. Living by the beach perfectly suits her active lifestyle, allowing her to enjoy open-water swimming, cycling and running throughout the year.
When she's not training for her next triathlon, Kora enjoys getting out on her rollerblade speed skates, embracing any opportunity to stay active while simply having fun.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Kora represents determination, resilience and the belief that a little healthy competition can bring out the very best in all of us.
Bianca Corvinus

Born in 1974 to parents of Hungarian heritage, Bianca grew up in Wantirna, in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Raised in a close-knit family with fairly strict parents, she treasured the independence that came with owning a bicycle. It gave her the freedom to explore the neighbourhood, visit friends and experience the world on her own terms—something that quickly became one of the greatest joys of her childhood.
As Melbourne's network of bicycle paths expanded through the south-eastern suburbs during her teenage years, Bianca and her group of friends spent countless weekends discovering new trails, parks and hidden corners of the city. Those adventures sparked a lifelong passion for cycling that has remained with her ever since.
Although life has taken her through marriage and, later, separation, cycling has always been a constant. Today, Bianca rides for wellbeing, fitness and the friendships that come from sharing long days in the saddle. She enjoys the camaraderie of local bunch rides, although she admits to quietly enjoying a little friendly competition with the other women in the group.
Known among her riding friends for her remarkable endurance, Bianca has a habit of making long rides look effortless. She's also developed a playful reputation for testing the legs of newcomers—never in a serious way, but just enough to see who might be able to keep up before welcoming them into the group.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Bianca represents friendship, perseverance and the simple joy of discovering new places on two wheels, proving that some of life's greatest adventures begin the moment you clip in.
Kristie Lansdown

Born in 1993 in Townsville, Queensland, Kristie spent her early childhood growing up on a family farm, where she developed a love of the outdoors and an adventurous spirit. Following the tragic loss of her father in a farming accident, her mother made the decision to begin a new chapter, relocating the family to Tweed Heads in search of a fresh start and a different way of life.
It was there, surrounded by beaches and warm coastal waters, that Kristie discovered the passion that would shape much of her life. She embraced everything the ocean had to offer, spending countless hours swimming, running along the shoreline and, before long, learning to surf. While she'd never claim to be the best surfer on the beach, she was always happiest whenever she was in or around the water.
As life moved on, Kristie settled in Capalaba, near Brisbane, giving her the perfect balance between work and the active coastal lifestyle she loves. Living close to Moreton Bay means she rarely misses an opportunity to head out for a swim or explore the waterways on her stand-up paddleboard whenever the weather is on her side.
Kristie's passion for the outdoors is something she shares with her fiancé, who is just as enthusiastic about swimming, paddleboarding and making the most of Queensland's incredible coastline. Together, they believe the best weekends are the ones spent on the water.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Kristie represents an active coastal lifestyle, encouraging others to enjoy the outdoors, stay healthy and make time for the adventures waiting just beyond the shoreline.
Isabella Severo

Born in 1992 in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Isabella grew up as the region was emerging as one of Brazil's most popular coastal destinations. Surrounded by stunning beaches, sand dunes and warm Atlantic waters, she developed a love of the outdoors from an early age.
As a child, Isabella's greatest adventures came on two wheels, riding through her neighbourhood with friends before spending long afternoons exploring the nearby dunes and trying her hand at surfing. By her teenage years, life revolved around the beach—sunshine, swimming, laughter and spending time with friends. Like many young Brazilians, the coastline wasn't just somewhere to visit; it was simply part of everyday life.
As an adult, Isabella discovered a passion for stand-up paddleboarding alongside cycling, finding both to be the perfect escape from the demands of work and everyday life. While still living with her parents in Cabo Frio, she built a life centred around family, friends and the ocean she had always called home.
In 2024, Isabella was presented with a career opportunity she simply couldn't refuse, making the life-changing decision to relocate to Sydney, Australia. Leaving family and the familiar beaches of Brazil was never easy, but she soon found comfort in discovering Australia's own spectacular coastline. Cycling and paddleboarding became more than just hobbies—they became her way of staying connected to the lifestyle she loved while building a new life on the other side of the world.
Today, Isabella embraces every opportunity to explore Sydney's beaches, bays and coastal paths, proving that while home may be thousands of kilometres away, the feeling of freedom found on the water is universal.
As a KAFITT Australia Ambassador, Isabella represents confidence, positivity and the joy of living an active coastal lifestyle, inspiring others to embrace new adventures wherever life may take them.
